Windows 7 Language Interface Packs provides its users with files that work with 32-bit operating systems and 64-bit editions of Windows 7 as well, providing with a rather flexible environment. Office Language Pack for Spanish, which you tell you have bought, includes Spanish Proofing Tools so no additional downloads are needed. For your other issue, typing Spanish accented characters, I repeat that Windows Spanish Language Pack and Office Spanish Language Pack, both installed and used, does not mean you automatically have the Spanish Input Language enabled and selected.
Has your Windows 7 operating system been upgraded to Windows 7 Service Pack 1 ( abbr: SP1) ?
