- The only way to permanently delete them is to overwrite the original data. You are unable to make it manually, but there are some other choices to make it. You can consider data eraser to make it. - Run imo application on your phone.
- From the Contacts tab enter the group that you would want to delete.
- Tap on the three dots icon from the top right corner and click on Group info.
- Tap on the three dots icon from the top of the group page and then click on Leave.
- Click on Yes from the opened window.
By taking these 5 simple steps, you can easily leave imo groups. Some users might thnk by long pressing on the group and then clicking on delete chat, they will be able to leave the chat. But in fact, this is not true and this option will only delete the chat history of that particular group and you will remain in that group. The only way to delete imo groups and leave the groups is through the steps that I mentioned above. All the other methods will only delete the chat history of the group.
Add or Delete imo group members
If you have created a group on imo and you have missed to invite someone, you can always add them whenever you want. Here are the steps you need to take in order to add new member to imo groups:
- Launch imo application on your phone.
- select Chats tab.
- Tap and hold the Group Name you just created and tap Profile.
- Select Add Member option and Search the contacts.
- Tap on Contact Name and tap Next (Android users get invite option instead of next).
